Description: This retreat is offered at minimal cost to practicing K-12 teachers as a means of providing time away from the busyness and stress of midwinter teaching and practicing mindfulness. The cost of the retreat includes all meals (dinner Friday evening and breakfast and lunch on Saturday), retreat materials, and the option of staying overnight at Sacred Waters Friday evening. The retreat will move at a slow pace and include opportunities for individual and small group reflection, communal meals, mindfulness and stress management activities, poetry, connection with nature, and an optional stretching/qi gong activity Saturday morning. Come to relax, enjoy, and rejuvenate, and to learn a little more about yourself.
